AAP peer counselors are para-professional undergraduate academic counselors who are extensively trained on university resources and policy. They also provide a student-focused look at life at UCLA - both academically and socially. For example, you should see a peer counselor if you need help program planning based on first-hand knowledge of various professors and course content, or if you would just like to find out about how to get more intimately involved in UCLA's myriad of social and extracurricular opportunities.
Peer Counselors can be of particular assistance to students who areundeclared, in academic difficulty or are seeking advising from a peer perspective.
