Edward Gurrola, Jr. is the Coordinator and Counselor for AAP's Transfer Student Center (TSC) along with counselor Carina Salazar. As part of the Transfer Student Center mission statement, Edward will assist students in planning their academic coursework toward their bachelor's degree; give them information about internships, undergraduate research, and scholarship opportunities; provide them with the necessary information on graduate and professional schools; and address their academic and personal concerns and issues. Overall, his goal is to increase the retention and graduation rate of historically underrepresented transfer students at UCLA by creating a network of transfer students and a transfer student community here at UCLA.
