Dat Bui Physiological Science Full-Time Counselor: Laura Sencion-Mendoza

Hi, Everyone!
My name is Dat Bui, and I am a 3rd year PLUS peer counselor, with a major in Physiological Science and a minor in Public Health. I plan to continue my education into graduate school, with specializations in the health-field. I grew up in the Bay Area located in Northern California, but loving the weather here in So-Cal. My favorite activities are sports, especially wrestling or football, and any outdoor adventures such as camping, hiking, kayaking, boogie-boarding and rowing. Oh, and did I forget to mention that I love meeting new people and getting to know the unique aspects that define who they are? I truly believe that a person's success is motivated and driven by three factors: The personal connections, whether academic or social, that one forms with other people throughout one's life, diligence and hard-work and lastly, the self-appointed will to never give up one's dreams and goals. I am a very positive person and I really think that the way that you act, influence the "auras" of the people that you surround yourself with. That is why you will always see a bright smile on my face! So don't be shy, come and see me if you have any academic questions or need someone to talk to or simply just to crack a joke with.
