Erica Garcia Sociology Full-Time Counselor: Jessica Patton

Hey, Everyone!
My name is Erica Garcia, and I am a fourth year sociology major and education minor. I was born in the Valley, but have lived almost all my life in Perris, California (Riverside County). My first two years I worked as a BruinCorps member, and this is my second year as a peer counselor for AAP. I have also been involved in Research Fellows (now Research Rookies), PLUS, College Honors, UniCamp, and the Sociology Immersion Program. Also, since spring 06, I am a sister of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. I like to go to concerts, shoot pool, listen to music (mostly alternative and Spanish rock), draw portraits, and watch t.v. (Tyra is the best). I am interested in issues regarding race/ethnicity, gender and education and would like to become a math teacher. This year, I am part of the undeclared counseling team.
