Margarita Diaz Sociology/Spanish Full-Time Counselor: Vivian Salazar

Hello, Everyone!! My name is Margarita Diaz, and I am a fifth year Sociology and Spanish Literature double major. I'm from Santa Maria, CA - a small town on the Central Coast - and am the youngest of three females. These past four years at UCLA have been personally and academically challenging, but with the help and support of my family back home, peers and AAP counselors, I have been able to overcome everything. Moving to Los Angeles was not the smoothest transition for me; thus, I am personally inclined to be a source of support for all of you who may experience similar challenges. This will be my first year as a peer counselor, and I am looking forward to meeting and working with all of you.
