Student Worker/Assistant Applications

Academic Year 2008 - 2008

The CCCP student staff positions are very competitive. If you are not selected at this time, we will keep your application on file for future openings during the academic year.

General Information:

• Applications are due May 9th, 2008 in 2211 Campbell Hall or by fax at: 310 267 4446. Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed based on the availability of positions.


• Summer Mandatory Training will take place from June 17th to June 20th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.


• Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) Peer Counselors will also be required to attend a training session in Austin, Texas from August 12th to August 14th.


• Academic Year Training will take place in mid to late August and late September. Dates to be announced.

Please take a moment to read about the programs on the handout since each program targets different students, has different requirements and demands different skills.

• Make sure to check the program(s) in which you are interested and/or are able to work.

Returning student staff members are required to complete only sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8.

New student staff must complete the entire application and submit the short essay responses.
