Graduate Mentors work closely with students who wish to enter graduate/professional school, assisting them in planning appropriate undergraduate courses, identifying existing graduate/professional programs that fit their interests, as well as encouraging them to participate in co-curricular activities - e.g., service learning, CARE, and Undergraduate Research Centers. Along with this support, the mentors walk students through the entire application process: from writing a letter of intent, asking for letters of recommendation, to taking the appropriate tests and preparing for interviews.
AAP students can meet with graduate mentors and professional staff on a regular basis for counseling either by appointment or during scheduled drop-in hours.
