Dani Beckman is a fourth year English major, and will be graduating
this summer. She joined AAP as the English 10A tutor at the beginning
of her junior year, and since then has tutored a variety of
disciplines such as English Literature and Comparative Literature, as
well as tutored writing help in Sociology, Political Science, History,
and others. This diversity of experience helped her to become the
English Literature Supervisor, as well as the temporary English
Composition Supervisor. While not originally an AAP student, tutoring
has given Dani invaluable experiences at UCLA and helped her to meet
some of the brightest students that UCLA has to offer. Dani's minor
at UCLA is Asian Languages, and next year she hopes to combine both
her major and minor by teaching English as a second language in South
Korean schools.
