Physics

Hi, I'm Mike Safyan, the Physics supervisor and tutor for Physics 6A. This is my second year as a tutor at AAP and I was also a Math 1 tutor this past summer in the Freshmen Summer Program (FSP). I'm a 3rd year Aerospace Engineering major and some day hope to work for NASA. I'm also a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity and have been a member of the executive board for 2 years now. My current position is treasurer.

Working at AAP has been an amazing experience. I've been able to connect with so many new people, not only helping them with academics, but sharing common experiences and creating a sense of community. Campbell Hall is always a fun and friendly environment and has come to feel like home to me.

Some of my other interests include traveling (this past year I've been to Costa Rica and Israel), fantasy novels (I know I'm a dork), surfing, and music. If you ever have any questions about physics or engineering, don't hesitate to ask!
