Live Webcast: Inaugural Convocation
October 8, 2007, 4:30 pm

At UCLA, we celebrate undergraduate education every day by teaching and mentoring our diverse and highly-engaged students -- with innovative programs, multidisciplinary experiences, specialized seminars, and opportunitites to pursue research. As a campus community, we have created unique opportunities and limitless possibility for our undergraduates.

This annual convocation and celebration week provides a moment at the beginning of each academic year for all in the UCLA community to reflect on undergraduate education and re-dedicate ourselves to this vital academic mission.

In the inaugural year of Celebrating Undergraduate Education, the convocation will be followed by a week of events that highlight the many campus-wide programs sponsored by UCLA’s Division of Undergraduate Education and its campus partners. These programs represent important innovations that offer our undergraduates the opportunities to experience the best of what our great research university has to offer.
