About Us

The Center for Community Learning provides “one stop shopping” for students interested in working off campus for academic credit or for service scholarships.

  • Juniors and Seniors can earn academic credit for an internship in any quarter, including summer.
  • There are a variety of service learning courses for everyone from first-year students to graduating seniors.
  • Consider spending a quarter in the UC Center Sacramento Program, working at an internship and conducting research on a related policy issue.
  • Apply for the undergraduate minor in Civic Engagement, which is the first of its kind in the country.
  • Enroll in one of our AmeriCorps programs to earn an educational award or “service scholarship” for your work in the communities of Los Angeles.
