Voices for National Service Announces 2008 Membership Campaign

Join Voices for National Service in 2008 and be a voice for the advancement of national service. Now is the time to engage policy makers.  Presidential candidates are talking about service during their primary debates, national media outlets such as TIME Magazine have issued calls to serve, and Congress is deliberating legislation to reauthorize the Corporation for National and Community Service.

When you become a member of Voices for National Service, you help to leverage and grow nearly $1 billion in federal funds annually invested in service. Your membership supports our education efforts and connects you to up-to-date information about legislation and policies affecting your program and the national service field.

Voices for National Service members include state agencies, local programs and national nonprofit organizations from all streams of service – AmeriCorps, Learn and Serve America, and Senior Corps – committed to expanding varied opportunities for all Americans to serve their communities and their country.
