Full-time Counselors

Are available to meet with UCLA College students for same-day appointments Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Counselors are unavailable for appointments and Window 2 is closed from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday mornings. Visit A-316 Murphy Hall Window 2 to schedule an appointment if you are a junior or senior, or if you have questions about:

• Degree requirements for graduation
• Scholastic difficulty (Academic probation / STD)
• Program planning (Double Majors)

Students in Honors , AAP (Academic Advancement Program) or Athletics must meet with a fulltime counselor in their respective advising unit.

Counseling Assistants

Counseling Assistants are graduate students from a wide variety of academic departments who advise undergraduates in the following areas:

• GE Program planning (freshmen & sophmores)
• Choosing a major (freshmen & sophmores)
• Preparing for Graduate / Professional School (juniors & seniors)

CAs are available for both same-day and advance appointments. CAs are unavailable for appointments and Window 1 is closed from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. every Wednesday. Schedule your appointment with a CA at A-316 Murphy, Window 1.

ASK Peer Counselors

ASK Peer Counselors are undergraduate advisors trained in the policies and procedures of the UCLA College. They are great resources for:

• Questions about College policies and deadlines
• Petitions and forms
• Referrals

ASK Peer Counselors are available Monday through Friday at  five locations on campus.
