Hi! My name is Faustina DuCros. I grew up in the Los Angeles suburbs about 30 miles away from UCLA. I am currently a doctoral candidate in the Sociology Department. Before coming to UCLA, I transferred from a community college to Cal State Long Beach, earning my BA in Sociology. After college I worked at a nonprofit organization, so if you're wondering what you can do with a BA in Sociology we can definitely chat. Having been a TA for several Sociology classes and the Interracial Dynamics GE Cluster here on campus, I'd also be happy to answer any questions you may have about specific courses. In addition to being a transfer student, I also worked with community college students for my MA research. If you are transfer student, please come see me! When I'm not working on campus or my research, I enjoy music, books, films, yoga, going to concerts, and spending time with family and friends. This year I look forward to helping you navigate UCLA's campus, courses, and resources.
