Withdrawal Petition
If you choose to withdraw from all of your courses once instruction has begun, you must submit a
Withdrawal Petition to your College advising unit.
You may pick up this form at your College advising unit or at any
ASK Peer Counseling Location.
To be eligible to withdraw from a quarter you must not have taken the finals or finished in any way the coursework
for any of the courses in which you enrolled.
If you are on a Subject To Dismissal agreement or on probation, you should meet with a counselor in your
College advising unit.
There are no restrictions on a first time withdrawal.
If you are withdrawing for a second time or more in your academic career, a HOLD may be placed on your
withdrawal, preventing enrollment, study list changes, and access to student services.
You should see an academic counselor in your College advising unit to discuss if
withdrawal is the best option.
If you receive financial aid , you should consult with that office concerning any refunds or repayment of money
if such issues are relevant to your situation.
Consult the current Schedule of Classes about the dates and
amount of refund for a particular term.
