Student Scholarships
Scholarships and academic support for students engaged in enrichment activities at the university are essential to attract and retain the students who ensure UCLA remains a world-class institution. If you are interested in supporting undergraduate students by establishing an endowment, by making an outright gift, or making a bequest, please contact Bea Richman, Director of Development, at (310) 825-8654 or brichman@support.ucla.edu.
Ways to Give
Create a Named Scholarship EndowmentWith gifts or pledges of $50,000 or more, a donor can establish a named endowment fund that will support UCLA undergraduate students in perpetuity. Only a portion of the income earned by the fund is used for scholarships. The remaining portion is returned to principal to help the fund continue to grow and ultimately support more students each year.
Gifts of Cash
An annual financial commitment to UCLA students can be made by check and credit card. Gifts of any amount will help defray the cost of a UCLA education and enable students to engage in honors programs, undergraduate research, community service projects and the Academic Advancement Program.
Bequests
Consider a bequest that would support undergraduates. Bea Richman will be pleased to provide specific language for this purpose.
