Welcome to Honors Programs

Applicants must be current College Honors students (incoming Freshmen and Transfer Students for Academic Year 2007-08 are not eligible). There is no specific GPA requirement. Eligibility is determined based on various combinations of qualifications and is defined by the Donor. Please note that there is only one award available for graduating seniors ($1000). In all other cases you must be a returning student in the 2007-2008 academic year. Should you be returning only for one or two quarters you will be eligible only for a partial award.

Available Scholarships and Eligibility
Scholarships available and numbers of awards available are subject to fluctuations in investments and funds available in the accounts. The list on the "College Honors Scholarships Information and Application Guide" is intended as a guide, therefore, not a definitive statement of scholarships to be offered by Honors Programs for the 2007 process (for use in Academic Year 2007 - 2008).

How to Apply
Log-on to MyUCLA to access the Honors Programs Scholarship Application (under MyUCLA Features, click on the "Honors" link, then scroll down to "Honors Scholarships"). The application link will be available Friday, February 22, 2008. You must download a copy of the "College Honors Scholarships Information and Application Guide" and carefully follow the directions.

Award Notification
Log-on to MyUCLA beginning Thursday, May 14, 2008 to check the results of your scholarship application. Please remember to print a copy of your notification letter for your own records.
