Churchill Foundation Scholarship
For Seniors or Recent Graduates Interested in Graduate Study in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science at Cambridge University
The Churchill Scholarship funds one year of graduate study at the University of Cambridge, Churchill College, in England, leading to a certificate, diploma, or Master of Philosophy degree in engineering, mathematics, or the sciences.
Award:
The award covers all tuition and living expenses, as well as travel and research stipends.
Eligibility:
An applicant must be nominated by UCLA and:
1) Be a U.S. citizen
2) Have a GPA of 3.7 or higher
3) Be between 19 and 26 years of age as of October 1, 2009
4) Demonstrate a capacity for original, creative work
5) Hold a Bachelor's Degree from a U.S. institution before beginning study as a Churchill Scholar in Fall 2009
6) Have taken the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or MCAT
7) Have applied directly to the University of Cambridge, Churchill College, by the Cambridge deadline of October 15, 2008
