Interaction of Science and Society

arrange an interview (if using email please write "HC 14" in the subject line).
Interviews will be conducted in small groups through the first week of December,
with results to be sent from Professor Miller by email. Note that while topics
include issues about genetic engineering, cloning, and biological weapons, the
course is open to both science and non-science majors (freshman to senior
levels), and assumes no science background.

M152: Collapses of Past Societies and Their Lessons for Our Own Future

intellectual autobiography: an essay explaining what books, ideas, or life
experiences have influenced the way you think (Dr. Wilson is interested in
knowing how your mind got to where it is today). Don’t forget to include your
name, UID, phone number, email address, class standing (FR, SO, JR, or SR),
major, and any other information you’d like to include (as long as it fits on
the one page). Your essay must be submitted via email or delivered directly to the
Honors Office at A-311 Murphy Hall no later than Thursday, November 30th, by 4pm
(if using email please write "HC 59w" in the subject line). Results will
released via email during the first week of December.
