Mitchell Scholarship

Outstanding UCLA seniors or recent graduates are invited to apply for a Mitchell Scholarship. Mitchell Scholarships finance one year of graduate study in any discipline at an institution of higher learning in Ireland or Northern Ireland beginning in Fall 2009.

Award:
The award covers tuition, housing, living expenses, and an international travel stipend.

Eligibility:
An applicant must be nominated by UCLA and:
1) be a citizen of the United States
2) be 18 but not yet 30 years of age on October 1, 2008
3) hold a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university before beginning study under the Mitchell Scholarship
4) have a demonstrated record of academic excellence, leadership, and service
