Scholarship HomeHonors Programs provides an opportunity for College Honors students to apply for various scholarships designed to reward and recognize scholastic excellence and promise, as well as to offset the expenses of an undergraduate education. Most scholarships are awarded to students for one academic year, and range from $1000 to $4000. This year, approximately $80,000 in awards are available. All scholarships have academic merit as their criteria, and most have at least one other criterion such as major and class standing. A few scholarships require financial need. Applicants will be considered for all scholarships for which they meet eligibility and for which funds are available. Except in extraordinary circumstances, any given applicant will receive only one scholarship. If an applicant places first in more than one category, s/he will receive the award offering the highest amount of money. Honors reserves the right to withhold any given scholarship in any given year should the quality or quantity of submissions be insufficient.
