Research projects may be library, laboratory, and/or field-based. Stipends may be used for the support of research-related expenses and/or to reduce
time that would be otherwise spent working. Summer Stipends are distributed equally among the four Divisions of the College of Letters and Science. Proposals
from students in the Humanities and Physical Sciences are especially invited.
Although this program does not give transcript credit, these summer studies may contribute to Senior Theses or lead to research during the academic year for
which course credit is normally given (as in #199 courses, for example).
Deadline: Completed applications must be returned to the Honors office at A-311 Murphy Hall by 4pm on MONDAY, APRIL 21, 2008.
Eligibility: Open only to College Honors, Departmental Honors, and Departmental Scholar Students
