Fall 2017 Admission Cycle

November 1 – 30 UC Application filing period
Week of January 9 TAP/Non-TAP Applicant Report sent (as an Excel workbook via e-mail) by Mary Ries (updates sent as necessary)

The TAP/Non-TAP Applicants Report reflects ALL students from a particular community college who have applied for admission to UCLA and provides detailed information on each applicant.

This report is one step in the process and is generated once applicant data are entered into the computer database. It is unlikely that the report can be generated any earlier than the date listed. The report is sent out as soon as it is received.

Use this report to identify students in your program who have applied to transfer to UCLA and should complete the TAP certification form to be eligible for priority consideration for admission to UCLA College.

Friday, March 3 Deadline to submit certification forms (by a trackable delivery method such as FedEx or Priority Mail), and list of certified students via e-mail.
Both forms and lists are sent to Mary Ries.

Late certification forms may impact applicants because they will not be identified as TAP students during the admission evaluation period and, subsequently, during the scholarship application period.
Late March Certification forms are delivered to Undergraduate Admission
  Transfer admissions evaluation process continues
TAP-certified applicants receive priority consideration as files are evaluated.
End of April – early May      Admit/deny letters are e-mailed on a rolling basis
June 1 SIR deadline
July – August Transfer Orientation
