Frank Nevarez grew up in Ventura County, California and received a BA in communication arts from Loyola Marymount University. He has worked at Cal State Long Beach (high school outreach coordinator) and Cal State Northridge (academic advisor, College of Business/EOP). He worked for URC/CARE in 2000- 2005 and then worked for the UCLA School of Engineering (high school outreach programs) before returning to the URC/CARE in November 2006. 

Frank coordinates the MARC program, BISEP, SPUR and the mentor/mentee program. Please feel free to visit him and learn how to use the UCLA lab experience as the key to a Ph. D. and a research career.
