Michael Flaxman grew up in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2005 with a B.A. in Community Studies focusing on Youth Societies and Schooling. His education and experience lies within serving as a youth advocate for judicated youth in Santa Cruz County while attending UCSC, and most recently working as a Program Coordinator with the Community College Foundation in Los Angeles. This position focused on providing over 2400 foster youth throughout California with vocational and educational workshops geared towards connecting them to a post-secondary education. He is currently the Program Representative for the PEERS and Amgen Scholars Programs. Please come in and say hello, or feel free to ask if you have any questions.
